The most Precious Lesson I learned through Medium

Last month I was rejected for a job position that could have landed me in a better team. Considering my records, I deserve to conclude that my reactions are pretty bad towards rejections and failures. But something else happened that day which occupied most of the room in mind.

The light of positivity was strong enough to hide the disappointment of the rejection.
My story Trick to Prioritize Relationships was selected by Medium curators. I was the happiest person on earth.

Here is a fact, I didn’t come across Medium randomly. I asked Aunt Google to land me at a platform that helps writers grow. I landed in Contena. I must say, The founder of Contena — Kevin is the sweetest person. When I browsed over Contena, I realized there is a special course to kick start my writing career. Unfortunately, I couldn’t enroll in that instant. I was added to the waiting list. As it is said that every cloud has a silver lining, this cloud had one too. It was Kevin’s emails. Kevin’s emails were indirect reminders to me that I am on the waiting list for the course. One day, I started replying to him assuming it was an automated email sent to everybody on the list. I wanted to play around with this robot. Surprisingly I got a reply from Kevin and it didn’t seem like an automated reply. His emails were pretty encouraging.
